Potential for expansion
Extension of historic workings could contain 1.2 M tons
@ 22.57 OPT Ag, 19.5% Pb, 5.53% Zn.
Additional Credits
Phosphorous grades of up to 23% in adjacent mineralization zones.
Energy Potential
Geothermal energy is available through the Burgin Mine workings. The company has received serious interest from Geothermal Firms |

3D Model of Historic Drill Results
Burgin Exploration Targets
- The footwall mineralization (Zone A) of the Burgin complex hosts a potential for an additional 450,000 tons of 1.5 opt Ag, 6.4% Pb, and 7-8% Zn
- Beyond the footwall, the Ballpark zone contains a mineralized area measuring 600 by 1400. Drilling has isolated a 3 zone Mississippi Valley-type replacement ore body.
Key Exploration Areas
|
Zone A
- 7 holes from the 1050 Level intersected mineralization
- Current indicated resources are 450,000 tons @ 1.5 opt Silver, 6.4% Lead, 7-8% Zinc
Sunshine Target
- 1 million tons of 15% Lead, 5% Zinc and 15 opt Silver.
- Highly prospective junction of complex faulting.
- South Fault and East Tintic Thrust
- Excellent chance of increasing grade and tonnage above the 1050 level.

Figure 6 - Burgin Targets |
The Ball Park
- 8 surface holes intersected this Mississippi Valley-type replacement ore body.
- Mineralization is in an area 600 by 1400 and contained in three horizons.
- 35-75 in thickness separated by 10-80 of barren dolomite.
- Dip is to the north-east at 18° to 20°.
- Ore is 900-1000 below surface.
