July 20th, 2007, VANCOUVER, B.C. – ANDOVER VENTURES INC.(the “Company”) (AOX-TSX: V; R2X-FRANKFURT) announces today the commencement of drilling at its 100% owned flagship property, the “Sun”, located in the Ambler Mining District, Alaska. With the arrival of the first drill rig at the "Sun" camp the Company is pleased to inform investors the aggressive 2007 drill/ work program is now underway. The second drill rig is expected to arrive at the camp within 10 days and a third rig is expected in August.

The drill program will include twinning some of the 49 historic drill holes on the property drilled by Anaconda, Teck Cominco and Noranda, with the intension of confirming historical deposit figures to NI-43-101 standards. Once this phase is completed it is Andover’s intension to test other identified targets within the district with further drilling.
